Wild Scotland - 2011

In Scotland, New Leaf has been working in two beautiful areas: the Cairngorms National Park and the Tweed Valley Forest Park.

The Cairngorms National Park is the largest national park in the UK. It is home to a variety of landscapes, including mountains, forests, and lochs. New Leaf has planted over 200,000 trees in the Cairngorms, helping to restore ancient woodland and create new habitats for wildlife.

The Tweed Valley Forest Park is a beautiful area of woodland and rivers in the Scottish Borders. It is home to a variety of wildlife, including birds, deer, and salmon. The Tree Charity has planted over 100,000 trees in the Tweed Valley, helping to improve water quality and create new habitats for wildlife.

New Leaf's work in these two areas has made a real difference to the environment and helped to create a greener future for all.

Reforest Wales - 2015

In Wales, New Leaf has been actively involved in the preservation and enhancement of Snowdonia National Park, the oldest national park in Wales.

Snowdonia National Park is a breathtaking expanse of mountains, valleys, and lakes, home to Wales' highest mountain, Snowdon. New Leaf has played a crucial role in restoring ancient woodland and creating new habitats for wildlife by planting over 50,000 trees in the park. This dedication to reforestation has not only revitalized the natural beauty of the area but also contributed to the park's resilience against climate change

New Leaf is committed to expanding its efforts in Wales and has set its sights on Brecon Beacons National Park, another gem of the Welsh landscape. With its rolling hills, tranquil valleys, and rich biodiversity, it is a natural choice for the charity's next phase of conservation work. By planting trees in this park, New Leaf aims to further protect the Welsh countryside and strengthen its ecological integrity.
